Mark came over for a fitting tonight. He is happy with the progress as are we.

Marks doublet

Marks doublet is taking shape. We counted the articals of costume that we have made this preseason and it is currently at 56. That is 56 seperate items of clothing. whoosh!

Marks Costume

We have started Marks Costume and Are working on Billys order

Andrea and Bridget are done.

Bridgets costume is done and boy dosnt she look colorful

Andrea loved her hat and it tops of that beautiful dress.

Andreas french hood

Continue using the curved needle to stich on the pearls at the junction of the hood and the brim.

Stitch the hood to the brim with a curved needle.

Ladder stitch the front of the hood over the frame and padding. Iron the Seam allowance over on the linning of the hood and slipstich it on.

sssshhhh Its a secret

todays work is a secret. Somebody will be very happy.

Andreas French hood

After I added the wire to the stiffening I used spray adhisive to mount a felt piece of padding to the hat and brim. Let this dry thourally

Next I ladder stitched the top fabric around the padded side to make the front or top of the french hoods brim. I then slip stitched the linning to the under or back side of the brim. This took all day. Tommorrow I start on the top of the hood and the linning.
