My night gown is wet from the hot night. It was still a cooler night then when the AC went out in the house. The ac unit was broke yet again this year when we turned it on. For two long days and nights we sat under fans as the temprature outside climbed to 114 degrees.

The morning sky is shades of lavender, pink and steel gray. Clouds are starting to gather and rain is possible in the next 4 days. I hope it is a good down pore.

Ronnie, concept drawing

This is Ronnies colorization of my sketch. it looks pale here but think jeweled tones, Bright and happy. She plays the wife of the Fhop who holds a high opinion of his fasion and color sence. His costume is just as bright.

Ronnies Dress

Ronnies dress is an explosion of color. I am working on her teal sleeves while Melinda is working on the pink trim for the bodic and skirt.

Trip to the Dentist.

Today was a dentist day. Since I have not dental ins. I go for a hundred and fifty mile trip to Noggales and have my teeth done there. It was great to get away from sewing for a day and enjoy a drive in the desert. Tommorrow back to work.

I got home and a friend had come over and painted my kitchen for me while I was gone. It is again fresh and lovely. I could never have taken the time during this time of year to do that.

Andreas French hood

After I added the wire to the stiffening I used spray adhisive to mount a felt piece of padding to the hat and brim. Let this dry thourally

Next I ladder stitched the top fabric around the padded side to make the front or top of the french hoods brim. I then slip stitched the linning to the under or back side of the brim. This took all day. Tommorrow I start on the top of the hood and the linning.
